This rank is given immediately to players who have accepted the rules but have not yet built a house or other similar builds.
They are teleported to the current /newestregion where they may begin their first steps in the server.
This is the stage for exploring and finding a place to live.
This rank is awarded to players who have been playing on the server after joining recently and have built a basic house.
- Must be completely enclosed with walls, floor and ceiling, all of which must be non-dirt blocks
- Contains a crafting bench, chest, furnace, bed, and door
If a player feels they have met the requirements for (Builder), they may stand in their house and request it to be reviewed by a staff member by typing /ticket Please review my House for builder rank! (or something similar).
Please allow some time for staff to review it.
This rank is for players who have built a moderately sized build primarily based on non-stone blocks such as wood, leaves, and water. Builds should take inspiration from the shape of the land and adapt to the environment which they are built upon.
This rank is awarded to players who have built an extensive structure, or series or structures composed of non-stone related blocks. The build at this stage of the path aspires more than just the lay of the land and seeks to profit from it; the builds take into extreme consideration of the various terrain and have created a work of art from it and continue to inspire others.
This rank is awarded to players who have built elaborate works of art; like how an artist can create a picture from a blank canvas, the player too can take any barren plain to a bustling town with all its intricacies. This path may contain a backstory or lore built along with it; much like any creation, there is a story associated with it. The player is the storymaker, they portray events that have arised and motivate visitors to seek other parts of the story.
This rank is for players who built a moderately-sized build primarily based on stone related blocks such as brick, sandstone, and slabs. Builds should demonstrate hard work with the land and developed to suit the needs of the build rather than coexist with it.
The build at this stage of the path desires to break the landscape and establish a clear image of what is built; the blocks used are not only complementary but provide a stark difference to the area and leave a lasting impression to all who gaze upon it.
This rank is awarded to players who dare to eliminate traces of nature by laying down a foundation that defines a player’s hard work to produce great structures made of stone related blocks. A story may be necessary, such as in the case of dungeons and castles. How the player wants to create a vivid lore is up to their imagination; tell others of the wonders!
This rank is for players with a passion for redstone. Builds must demonstrate a basic understanding of redstone beyond “button on a block” or “pressure plate in front of a door”. Its components must be concealed as best as possible.
Builds must be functional. If players are doing a single line to a dropper or any type of flying machine, generally another build of the same quality is recommended. If the build uses logic gates and latches, only one is required as long as it serves its purpose for the build. Tutorials are acceptable.
This rank is awarded to players with a developing passion for redstone. Builds can be of a wide variety, but must demonstrate a proficient understanding of redstone beyond logic gates and latches. All redstone hidden to the best of the player’s ability. Projects must be planned and the end result should be a type of redstone machinery. It is ideal to move from functional to purposeful as well as remaining true to the player’s intentions.
This rank is awarded to players who have mastered the use of redstone.
Their developing passon has now grown into a hunger, the player can now foresee future mechanisms and they bring their ideas to life. This rank requires experience and competence. The builds must be outstanding and mind blowing, with all redstone hidden to the best of the player’s ability.
Projects must be well planned and the end result should be a redstone masterpiece. The clear goal of this rank is to show originality and care to the complexity of redstone. The more ‘inventive’ the player is, with regards to the redstone build presented, the more the build will shock and awe the staff.
It is advised that builds for this rank must be kept as close as possible as an original work by the player, keeping in mind that it may look similar to previously known Redstoners or their work. Players must challenge themselves to create something that the community may enjoy using or simply amazed every time they are reminded of it.
Shop Path (available in the 1.18 server!)
This rank is for two or more players who wish to build together. There are no restrictions on the types of blocks used. It also does not count toward the Master rank. The build for this path must be greater is size compared to the other paths as it consists of more than one player. This may include 3 medium and 5 small builds connected with pathways and the builds must compliment each other in size and design.This rank is awarded to players consisting of 2 or more, all wishing to build together.
This rank is awarded to players consisting of 2 or more contributing equally to an extensive structure, or series or structures with no set restrictions on types of blocks used. While the rank is similar to what Artisan and Mason requires, it is built with like-minded individuals. This may include 10+ medium builds, and 1-2 large builds within a large area. These builds and pathways must be intertwined and compliment each other in size and design.
This rank is awarded to players consisting of 2 or more who prefer to build in groups and focus on teamwork to create elaborate set of structures with no set restrictions on types of blocks used.
All players helped each other to create something they could not accomplish alone; a true building team may create wonderful and dazzling builds in a span of few weeks rather than months. A good measure for how large the area needs to be is the inclusion of multiple region posts within build(s).
Similar to (Elder) and (Grand Mason), the players involved not only show off their work but their faults and their accomplishments echo throughout their builds and inspire new teams to build together.
In order to obtain this rank, all players must agree that ideas were equally considered.
This rank is for players who are passionate about the implementation of shops on the server. These players take time to create a place where players can buy and sell items to benefit the server’s economy. The requirements for this rank are that the player must have a shop on the server with at least 20 items. The stock of the shop can be the same variety of items. The shop must be at least 1,000 blocks. The player must also pay the server 2 million dollars for the rank up. This money does not stack when trying to achieve the next rank.
Players who achieve this rank have contributed to the building of the server’s economy. These players take time to create a place where players can buy and sell items to greatly benefit the server’s economy. The requirements for this rank are that the player must have a shop on the server with at least 40 items. The stock of the shop should have a variety of items with at least 3 being rare. The shop must be at least 1,000 blocks. The player must also pay the server 2 million dollars for the rank up. This money does not stack when trying to achieve the next rank.
Players who achieve this rank have mastered the ways of the server’s economy. These players take time to create a place where players can buy and sell items, this shop is one of the main economies on the server. The requirements for this rank are that the player must have a shop on the server with at least 50 items, there must be 8-10 rare items in it. The stock of the shop should have a large variety of items. The shop must be at least 1,000 blocks, it is encouraged that the player add more depth to the shop’s infrastructure for this rankup. The player must also pay the server 7 million dollars for the rank up. This money does not stack when trying to achieve the next rank.
This rank is awarded to players who have accomplished the unimaginable; obtaining all tiered paths, not including ‘Groupie’ Path and the “Shop Path”.
When the conditions for (Master) has been met, the player may then choose a title befitting them; they may choose any acceptable title that is not currently taken and must be appropriate in the server. Additional information such as the color of the title and ( ) is recommended but not required. If the player does not specify either name of title or color, they will be given default (Master) title and colors.
What is next after (Master)? Nothing, there is no new game+. The player has achieved one of the end goals of the server and the next viable step is to encourage others to follow; supporting the community and continue to show a positive attitude towards building and having fun.
This rank is accessible to a select few.
BuildatNight has been operating for 2 years and to show our appreciation to our humble roots any verifiable person who played on Fishycraft is eligible for the Veteran rank.
The benefits are slightly less than Tier 3; however, a Tier 3 ranked player may request to keep (Veteran) and still maintain all Tier 3 permissions.
This rank is challenging and time consuming; it requires dedication and a passion for helping new players into the server as well as maintaining a positive attitude with other members of the server.
In order to qualify for (Mayor), a player must already be ranked to any of the Tier 2 ranks. Often players can make it to that rank by building their towns and willing to create a community within.
A player must build and run a functional town with several ‘new’ player residents. Towns may offer grid plots, but it is advised to add diversity and ambiance when creating the town, such as a theme or restriction of certain types of blocks or different sized plots in different terrain.
Towns may have many amenities including:
- A town hall where town rules and requirements are posted
- Nice pathways to make navigating easier
- Several open plots available for prospective residents
- Accessible public farms as a way to gather early resources for new players; this may include tree farms, any food farms, any mob exp farms
Players are expected to assume the responsibilities of (Mayor) and may apply for the rank once they have ~10 new active players in their town. Players who cannot perform the duties of a mayor without the title rarely perform them after getting the title.
In the case of group builds, only one player may obtain the rank, otherwise each player must be responsible of their own towns and may provide assistance to anyone wishing to attain the rank.
